Hair loss at test cyp 250/w ?????
Recently(last few weeks) I have noticed a large amount of shedding. I am currntly cruising at 250/w test cyp.
I almost at the point of panic ! I cant see Dr. until next week so Im here for advice. I started chantix last
week , which can also cause hairloss(not listed as side effect). I have purchsed a dht blocking shampoo and rogaine. when I see the Dr. I will discuss finasteride.How will it affect my testosterone levels? Im on TRT and like the way I feel. I was planning on blasting in a Few weeks!! script nizoral shampoo??? I have read alot of posts on this but they were not specific on the finesteride. Any info will help me relax a bit until I se the doctor!!! The stress of thinking about it isnt helping either.. Thanks for your help... It might just be my time.. 46yo

Update: I saw a dermotologist yesterday and had my endo fax over the bloods for my testo levels.
testosterone, serum 1185(ng/dl) high(for my endo) but in range
free testosterone 42.3(pg/ml) high range to 21.5
some concern from dermatologist have to see endo..
GOOD NEWS is that he believes that my sudden hairloss is caused by my rapid weightloss (75 lbs in roughly 15 weeks. he believes that although 8 weeks have passed since, tate my body is reacting to the weightloss and that my hair will recover in about 4-6 months.
I hope hes right!! told to continue special shampoo and minoxidil 5% would not prescibe propecia because of TRT. Endo will know better and I will see her soon.
@romangod hey bro Atleast your in good health that's what comes first. I lost all my hair in my first cycle and I shaved my head bald and grew a nice beard a lot of sexy woman liked the style. Two years later my hair grew back and I still cycle, just wait and see what your body will do. I don't recall did you test DHT Levels
I had test blood levels about 3 weeks ago for my endo. My appt to see her isnt till the end of the month.. I finally got through to them today.. they wouldnt tell me my levels except that they were a little high and we would discuss them at my visit.. I convinced them to fax the levels to my dermatologist who I will see on friday... I will find out then. I was on a higher dose than prescribed and using gear from a source listed here. I thought I stopped early enough not to show high on bloods.(15 days?? or so) we shall see if I have to explain myself... If its not the DHT then ????? energy level high and health is great ! thanks lilbear
UPDATE It is not from black mold! Bloods came back perfect...no toxins, thyroid good etc. I had bloods for testosterone levels done 2 weeks or so earlier so she did not test for them. I will call my endo for those results(having trouble contacting them) G P referred me to a dermatologist. It might just be my time... Acceptance is getting easier( tahnks to fireball cinammon whiskey lol). F%^ it ill just start BLASTING and be like my other balding bros.. If the women dont like it.... theres always hoes!!!!! hey that rhymes !!
I'm glad your doctor cought that black mold issue and your feeling better. That's not something to toy with. @romangod did you ask the doctor if boldness was a direct effect of the mold, weak immune or hereditary.
Im waiting for blood test results.. Have to go back to Dr this week(another copay). Baldness does not run in my family at least on moms side. I will get all the answers and post the conclusions. thanks lilbear

Here's the bad news. Your prone to lose your hair in the long run, you have just made the process a little faster.
You have a few options.
1. Use all those products to regain hair for a period of time. IMO it's a waste because in the long run you'll be bald.
Shave your head and accept it. A lot of woman find it sexy.
Implant hair.
Good luck, doctors will run a million test and take your money with a smile. If your not confident with or with out hair you need more testosterone.
I rather be a strong confident bald man than a weak insecure man with hair any day of the week.
LOVE IT !!! Went to DR today... just got home.. Bloods taken for thyroid issues Als had an exposure to black mold{in my a/c) for an extended period. myotoxins could have affected my immune system and caused sudden hairloss.. I will call my endo tmrw Took bloods for testo last week.Now I will have that shot of whiskey!!! And Ill go pin a 100mg of cyp. Feelin better by the day

I shed on my first cycle as well and I bought some nizoral 2% and rogaine and it stopped it in it's tracks. You should try it.
Funny story, I recently went to my doctor because I've been having dandruff... And what does he prescribe me? Ketoconazole 2% (nizoral 2%)
Now I got a script for it lmao. Sure beats buying it online for $50 ;)
as much as I didnt want to start another life long pursuit like rogaine(and trt) . thre are the benefits... I startd monoxidil 5% two days ago ! I will go to dr. for nizoral 2% otc nizoral is 1% and readily available. Ill try to get a script. thanks details.
Oh, I only used rogaine for a few weeks while my hair was shedding/thinning... Stopped it in it's tracks. I stopped using rogaine a lonf time ago and my hair stayed thick like normal.
