Age and weight versus dosage- HGH and TRT

ad

An observation I have made as I have gotten older is that most medications (prescription and OTC) have a very common dosage protocol for all persons. Take one a day, one every four hours, every twelve hours etc. Well, I ask. How can this be? How can I, at 6'1 52 years 240 lbs old possibly be told to take the same dose of anything as my 5'4 125 lb 45 year old wife? I just don't think that makes sense on any level.
So, taking this over to the THT and HGH realm, I read a lot of posts with all different kinds of dosages. Has anyone any type of research on age, weight and height as the determining factor on dosage required for either HGH or THT? Thank you all and appreciate the shared knowledge. B.

I'm guessing you mean TRT not THT? As far as testosterone the dosages for TRT are commonly the same for men, regardless of age, because synthetic testosterone will shut down the production of natural T so the goal testosterone number is often reached by the same dose for many guys. For example if two guys of different age and weight are on TRT, and have a desired TRT level of 700, then the amount of testosterone to reach that for both guys will be similar. Not exactly the same but for most cases it will be close.

That's fairly true Cam since I am on a TRT regimen and my lifting buddy is as well. We are both close to 50 years young only he has 20 lbs on me with slightly higher BF. ( I am 205 )
We both dose 200mg/week and his levels are 640 while mine hover around 700. Would be interesting to get some feedback from someone in the 175-200 lb range.
