Advice needed (for a woman, through a man)

ad

Hi all,

I'm inquiring for a lady friend of mine. I'm well advised on these matters regarding men but as for cycles/advice for women, I'm at a lost. Hopefully some well experienced individuals can chime in...

Her goal is to tighten up and loose weight. Some definition but not too muscular; weight loss and tone primarily.

She is in her low 40's. Currently weighing around 134lb (so she says... LOL). Used to be quite fit but slowed a bit due to personal reasons. She's very aware that diet and cardio is key above all. As for prior cycles, possibly but if so, they would have been quite some time ago; practically a beginner at this point.

I was thinking a var only 8wk cycle @ 10mg/day, split into 2 (morning & afternoon). But again, I'm not a 'women's' expert on the matter... I hear of possibly gaining weight, water retention, too much muscle, etc... So maybe you guys/gals have a better perspective? I have access to all other compounds, so if you recommend she run something different, I'm all ears (or eyes in this case). Thanks

Honestly if she wants to "tighten up" she should work on her diet and not even think about taking anything until she has reached her full potential.

Personally I think women turn to AAS for the wrong reason.

I honestly dislike the thought of women taking AAS’s in general… but this is one of those situations…

Could you imagine the twenty something year old boy/man that is dead set in their mind that they want to do steroids? No matter what you say will change this. It’s either help him through proper knowledge and advice or turn your back and have him seek out his own advice. Maybe he gets luckily and receives good/safe advice? Maybe he finds someone with a lack of knowledge and immoral intentions, and ends up running a heavy tren cycle for the first time…?

This is a similar situation. I have no control over this woman (she is not my gf, mother, daughter, etc…). Either a friend can try to seek safe/quality advice for her, or she will find it elsewhere (possibly through someone who has indecent intentions). I know she shouldn’t but she will, with or without our help.

have her read the stickies on the beginner cycle at the top of the page. if she has any significant amount of body fat she will feel thicker and be thicker for using anavar .. or any aas really. It will help to a small degree with some fat but I can assure you that she won't be happy if she is primarily using it for weight loss. Anavar was developed to add muscle to people with muscle wasting diseases.. and it does so .. very well. Yes when your body fat is low it will lean you out but that is not its primary purpose. She will experience water weight gain while on which will reduce when she comes off. It is an issue of her body trying to maintain homeostatsis and her other hormones will "adjust" to the addition of the anabolic substance. if she has any other questions I d be happy to assist

Thanks hbg.

I'll pass this on to her. If she gets thicker, it'll be a "I told you so" situation...

She's done some of her own research and seems pretty set on running var.

Would you know if running a low dose clen along with the var would help?

(but ultimately I know diet and cardio is what's really important here; which I've stressed to her already)

Hey man, sorry i missed your reply. Hrdbdygrrrl is dead on right. Anavar is NOT a weight loss drug. Especially with women. Think of it this way...

It doesn't pack mass onto guys because it is so weak. However, in a woman it's not weak at all. It actually packs a pretty substantial punch and she will gain weight. That can be controlled with diet to a degree but at the end of the day muscle weighs more than fat. If she is focused on the scale she will not be happy.

Clen will help her lose weight but I'm a firm believer that Clen is one of those drugs that you shouldn't be running if you don't have a need too. If she is planning on competing or has a good reason other than wanting to lose weight then I say go for it.

I'm not trying to be harsh here man. Seriously, I'm just trying to help. I was a personal trainer for years and trained mostly women. That's also the reason I quit training. Most of the women don't actually diet and they don't train hard. Not saying that's your girl friend at all. Just sharing my experience.

No, it's all good. I'm glad to hear this now, before she starts. She's only a friend, so my influence isn't as strong but I'm trying to help best I can.

I'll pass on all the additional info. If she isn't pleased with what she sees, it'll be on her.

(Advice for guys is much easier...)
