Im rooting for Kai in the future. I think Phil is a bit overrated
it was a great show, i was hoping dennis would place 2nd over kai but i think the placings were spot on except for jay and dexter. I thought jay was better than dexter. jay only had 10 weeks to prepare for the comp before having to diet so considering that, he did great.
there may def be an upset there is some big hard working guys this year commin up. i been following jay and hope he does good this year but kai needs one!

It's going to be a close call this year and I have a feeling people might be shocked by the outcome.
I reallywould like to see their gear schedule, eating schedule, and gym schedule. These guys always look incredible, what are they taking and eating to be so big and ripped. I belidve I have the physique however I lack 1 the funds, 2 the funds, and3 the funds and 4that true knowledge of what to take and when to eat. I wish I could get some sponsors. Doubt Jay will take it, he's worn out. He needs to keep that waist down and his lower abs have been looking very loose. I think he came back for publicity, he's very much a business person. I think Phil will take it again, that being said Ramy looked awesome at the NY pro. Phil's physique is more complete than his though.
Seems to me Kai should win it if the judges want real freaks. He has insane muscle and thickness. But I think Phil will keep winning because they want a more aesthetic, symmetrical look. I think at the very top level they should have the freaks win. Jay and Ronnie were pretty freaky so maybe the judges want a change after all those years. Bottom line is nobody will beat Phil if they want that aesthetic look.
BigBmajAnd I think that should probably be the case. I think we need to turn back to a more aesthetic build. Freaks are great but I think symmetry and overall aesthetic appear should trump freakdom.
Yeah its probably better for the sport to have the more symmetrical aesthetic types win. The general public can likely appreciate that look more. I can easily see Phil winning for the next five years assuming the judges want that look too. I mean who is close to him for that look?
I really liked how FrankZanewas built, then I saw Lee Priest and Shawn Ray, Dorian Yates, Flex Wheeler, but Jay Cutler when at his best is INSANE

Rhoden can win and here is why.
He did 7 shows last year and this year he is taking the whole year off.
He skipped the Arnold despite being the favorite to win which means he is gunning for the Olympia to win it, he is obviously confident if he sacrificed the Arnolds
He has new sponsor and of course Ronnie being in his corner has to count for something
He is financially well off now and he has momentum on his side being the most improved in 2012, this is a man that is not lazy and will bring it.
A long shot I know but i won't be surprised if he pulls it off.

AnonI saw jay guest pose recently he's looking massive but also saw heath pose too his shoulders are like bowling balls he's getting his third olympia
I think Phil will take it but I'm more excited about seeing Shawn Rhoden, this guy looks good real good.

Don't believe it's going to happen. It was close but you got to remember Kai was probably at his very best an Phil was off a bit, he didn't look as good as when he won it.

One things for sure it isn't as easy as most thought it would be for Phil, Kai is deff brining it to em.
idk i think jays going for mass while phil is doing more attention to detail compared to jay. in this link he said he's almost to 300lbs but idk he just doesnt look huge like he did when he almost be ronnie in 02 or 03 i forget. but my old man was at the Arnold classic and said he looked the biggest out of him, phil and kai. in my opinion i think phil will win again
