Bulking on a budget?

ad

Hey guys,

Seeing as we all have expenses that limit our bulking, whether it be cars, mortgages, kids, your beautiful but extremely expensive spouse, what ever the reasons we have to make sacrifices that keep us from eating as clean as you can. What s your secret?

I know we have all done the protein oatmeal for breakfast and steak and potatoes for dinner. I'm looking for more exciting CHEAP solutions.

If you have any throw em on the board!

Cheapest source of quality protein for me in chicken. Buy around 10kgs at a time and freeze it in portions.

Then carbs are already cheap, wholewheat pasta is a fav of mine. Got a rice steamer too, cost around £20 but cooks perfect rice each time. Cook few days worth, let it cool then put it in the fridge. Just reheat the amount you need at the time. Quick and cheap!

Keep it simple. Go to your local Sams club and look at the protein/carb stuff they have. Fish, Chicken, etc. Tilapias are cheap and good source of protein. Chicken you can get a big bag of for cheap. Eggs. Tuna.

Sam' club has a bag, 6 pounds of chicken breast for $10. Dollar tree has tuna(white solid albacore) for $1 buck, wal mart has protein powder (body fortress i would reccomend you the strawberry flavor)2 pounds for $15.

The secret IMO is to keep it simple man, i cook my 2 pounds of chicken in the morning along with rice in bag and broccolli. I eat that in 3 meals along with egg whites and snacks(protein bars) between meals. I usually get 350-380 grms protein/day. Hope this helps. Been on budget for a few now and u learn to administrate ur $$$ if u keep things simple. Cheers and happy grow.
