T3/T4 and HIGH GH doses. Real talk.
So,
im having a personal/inner controversy on what to really believe. My knowledge (taught/research) has always lead me to believe the thyroid is quite intricate and needs to remain in equilibrium if one does not want to be on t3/t4 for the next 50 years of their waking existence.
speaking with Tread, he is a firm believer a low dose of t4 should be introduced and levels tested to see if TSH suppression is occurring - and that coming off, your body will go right back to "running smoothly" with no complications (let me say, Tread, I have the upmost respect for you and you're one of the few individuals who I would trust with advising my health)
My conflict comes where GymChemist, who had some glory days over in the UK weighing 270+ (big boy status) swears against it - while using 15 IU GH in the morning, and 20IU/night (yes, 35IU a day) which is I believe what he is doing right now. Says he has never had any issues with doing it this way without any t3/t4 supplementation
Just wanted to have an open discussion with you guys, no, this isn't anything advanced by any means - just something I would like to see some different view points on

This is a very subjective issue here... Everyone's thyroid glands are different and while gymchemist can use 35iu/day GH without any t3/t4 supplementation others may find it a lot more beneficial.
On another note, fuck me!!! The CTS must be crazy on 35iu/day... That is more than what the IFBB pros take!
ask SDM , he is taking thyroid for life , he would know about this. wish i could help bdut my thyroid is never suppressed
Tread and I always disagree on this one... I'm coming from a place where I HAVE to take what is considered very high doses of T4. GH may or may not supress the conversion of T4 into T3 ... the issue that I have is taking a dose 1) when you don't need to and 2) at a predetermined level without continuous testing to see if the dosage needs adjustment.
You see the "prescribed" method one so often sees is to automatically supplement with T4 ** before** getting blood tests done to even see if it has been supressed by the intake of HGH. AND, taking moderately high doses to begin with and upping the doses as the cycle progresses, all without continuous monthly blood testing. In addition, coming off T4 suddenly can be a huge recipe for disaster for your endocrine system and possibly for you.
I realize there is a seperate debate regarding whether or not to take T4 or T3 and that is answered by several articles where it is pinpointed that the ** conversion** from T4 to T3 is critical and that in by passing the conversion you are offsetting the benefits of taking the thyroid to begin with.
