Battling with Double Pnuemonia
ad
I have just been released from the hospital after lying on my back for 5 weeks. I have lost over 30 lbs of muscle mass. What do you all think is the fastest way to get it back?

Welcome back bro! Thirty pounds has to be mentally hard to deal with. . I spent 11 days in the hospital and I felt like I shriveled into a date, but it was all in my head.. I'm sure you have already conjured a plan, while in the hospital for 5 weeks. You will get it back soon, keep it safe to prevent further injury. Hope all is well, stay strong and healthy brother!
I wanted to do a couple of shows this year but that's not gonna happen now. I though they used to give roids to sick people to make 'em heal up better? Wishful thinking? Selective memory? Thanks for the welcome back it means a lot.
Lol.Np homie, I knew I didn't see that coffee cup in the cycle logs anymore. Lol
U are at least making me laugh. The coffee cup is too robust at the moment. I need something that looks feeble that if u sneezed on it it would dry up and blow away . . . . LMFAO lol Paper doll? Only if others share my humor . . ..
Welcome back GearHead. You've been missed. Hang in there and get back to full speed.
Thanks bro. Miss this place.
REST, lots of water, good whole food vitamins, proper nutrition and if your insurance covers acupuncture you should go it will speed along yr healing and they have excellent herbs that fosters healing as well...
feel better :0)
How is acupuncture used in this application? The infection is all but gone - now it's just a matter of packing on the muscle mass I lost . . ..
welcome back brothe hope your better
Thanks bro. Verdict is still out on the condition of my kidneys from the infection, but the swelling in the legs is way down . .
id ease back into it for a while, good foods high in protein, dont want injury, then when ready test.
RustyhookerBro...you have 3 forums going. Eliminate two so noone gets confused. Lol
Fixed bro. Nice to be back.
RustyhookerI'd hit the food dudes up for a good 6Weeks at least. Get the muscle memory and base back. Sgtstedanko has full daily food plans in his forums, vike,, sdm, makwa etc. I came off two broke elbows near 2yrs ago. The beginning was scarey and rugged but muscle memory kicked in then light cycle. Nothing fancy.
Thanks bro. 5 weeks in hospital and 6 weeks of no gear. I will not be able to show my face in the gym. Folk are supposed to get yellowish looking and call me sir or Big Steve when I walk onto the floor and I set up for my 315 shoulder press and beyond. I'll be lucky if I can handle a pair of 30 lb dumbbells. How is my eqo gonna survive this. LMAO. Admit it, you think it's funny cause it probably is . . .
Rustyhooker2yrs back i joined eroids. Following month broke both elbows. Grrr!! Went from 203 & 10% at 5-4 to 203 & fat as eff! 350lb reps down to 140. Though Dr was gonna fuse my arm. Trust me, i feel ya!!! Itll make you mentally and physically stronger.
First off I hope you get better quick. Pneumonia is nothing to play with. Wow 30 lbs that sucks, I've never been faced with anything like that. Obviously diet will play and important role. Muscle memory is an amazing thing also. As far as the best and fastest way to get you on track I think the likes of Vike,Makwa,SDM, who has pneumonia as well, Darktide, are good guys to lean on for this. I also think you know what's best for you, you've been in this game a long time. Get well.
My pro trainer and coach that I've had for a number of years is also level headed. I've always competed as a super heavy and now at 225 I'm lucky to emerge at the bottom of the heavy weight class. Thanks for the list of guys to reach out to . . .. .
Fantasiathescammer" do what you did to get it and don't stop"
I would stay away from steroids of any kind. Diet, health, and training naturally will be enough to get you to a stable weight.
Currently at 225 is - very light for me for off season.
Certainly for a while. But I'm going to need all the chemical support I can get at some point. They don't call me GearHead for no reason. Thanks bro.
