+ 1 Metabolism and Steroids

ad

I have been on this board for sometime reading and learning. Also other boards. I never posted much because I didn't feel knowledgeable enough to do so. Through all my reading and really sifting because it is difficult to determine who really knows what they are talking about and who just regurgitate bro science. I feel I have educated myself enough that I can pretty much tell the difference between the bullshit and the bull and be of some help to others seeking knowledge. One of the things I have been thinking and reading about is what steroid is correct for what person.

I found the following and wanted to share this with the eroids community because I feel this is very important.

END EDIT

I borrowed the above from Will Brink to give him the credit.

My query is where do steroids factor in to this range?

Drugs such as steroids can act as are the great genetic equalizer: those who add muscle easily but can’t get lean are able to do so, and those who have great difficulty adding LBM, but have no problems staying/getting lean, can do so while retaining LBM. Obviously, genetic traits still play a role (or everyone would look identical and respond identical, etc) but drugs allow for genetic limitations in the above, faster recoup, ability to tolerate higher training volumes, etc.

One of the questions that is often asked is stats. I agree the current body stats are an important part of deciding what steroid is the correct one for the individual a deeper understanding of the individual is needed in order to truly give an opinion of what is the best choice to make.

For example, logically one that has trouble adding and retaining LBM should be using stacked compounds that are geared toward increasing body mass such as Testosterone, Deca-Durabolin, Anadrol, NPP and Dianabol will take the lead. Each of these steroids will pack on size and increase strength when coupled with enough calories. The goal put on as much muscle as possible without worrying to much about fat accumulation because that will fall off when off cycle. This is a typical bulker cycle and this person should be bulking almost every single cycle.

For people on the opposite end of the spectrum the right choice may be lower levels of Testosterone while adding Tren, Mast, Var or any other drug that will fight the muscle wasting effect of losing body fat on a low carb intake. Otherwise, when someone loses weight they often just end up looking like a smaller version of themselves without a real chance in composition. This person will look to cut and salvage muscle more often than bulk to add it.

Those in the middle have the best of both worlds. They can bulk and then cut rinse and repeat. Its the opposite ends of the spectrum that need to make the best choices or really that can make completely wrong choices.

The above contains only generalized statements that aren't true in every situation. I simply wanted to point out another thing to think about while deciding what is right for you.

I'll give you credit for crediting the author. But unless you have his permission to post it here you'll need to summarize and post a link. (It's in the rules)

I appreciate you pointing that out to me. I did not realize that was against the rule. Thank you for correcting it. I frequently write and quote in my daily work. Giving the author credit in my work is the norm. I get this site has its own set of rules and I clearly need to familiarize myself with them because that is my responsibility. If I post I need to know and follow them and I will in the future.

Thanks, I love the site and people on here. We all really need this community. This site gives us a place to help each other understand how do this safely and achieve the results in whatever that is for each of us as individuals. I did blow off a little steam in the karma poll thread maybe I need to hit the gym hard tonight!!

I don't disagree diet plays a huge role but this entire post is really only about making choices of compounds and things to consider when deciding. One of the things I see all the time on here is my goal is to gain lean muscle and lose fat. I always think to myself no shit Sherlock is there any other reason to use AAS isn't that what everyone wants? Because everyone knows that's the goal to start that's not really what is being asked. Really what is being asked is where do you have problems when trying to achieve your goal. That's much more useful information.

For example, some guys lack appetite to gain. There are compounds the increase appetite and vice versa. Not all compounds are created equally and each has its own unique characteristics. In considering what is right for you think about what compound can help you overcome your body's natural characteristics blocking your access to your goal.

Good info, I feel like body type should be included in stats given. To many uneducated people want cycles laid out for them, this would just be another piece of the puzzle to help offer the safest advice possible.
