having horrable headaches

ad

Whats up guys well i have been having horrable headaches for around 5 or 6 months that are soo bad that 3 loratab 10s wont make it go away i have been off cycle for around a year i caint remeber the exact time but the cycle was just a basic test e 750 mgs/week for maybe 6-8 weeks (caint remeber exactly just had to stop earlier than i wanted to) with 50 mgs a day dbol for a kicker for 4 weeks and then nolva clomid for pct and my A.i. through out was a very low dose letrozole but i never had a headache on cycle they started several months after thats why i believe it may have something to do with low testosterone im going tommorrow to have my blood work done to have my testosterone estrogen t3 and t4 fsh and diabeties(not spelled right) checked i have already had a cat scan done and there was no tumors or blood leaking and its not my blood pressure cause i did a two week record of it morning and night and i was having headaches when it was normal and when it was a little on the high side............. any thoughts guys?

Barabbas's picture

Glad to see everything else is good that's always a good sign bud

mattman's picture

My bloodwork came back and my test level is 417 but everything else was fine

Barabbas's picture

Did you ever do any pre cycle bloods? That way you can know what your natty levels were.

mattman's picture

No i never had the money at the time and i wasnt on any insurance so it wasnt really an option but i shure as hell wish i would have

Barabbas's picture

You can have them ran real cheap now a days I think it's privatemdlabs.com you can get the female hormone panel it's like $60. For me I paid out the ass before RustyHooker and Grime told me about it.

teza84's picture

Testosterone helps cluster headaches as well man.

Catalyst's picture

Have you had your thyroid checked? Hope you're not the same, but it was a symptom I had when my thyroid went over active.

mattman's picture

I had it checked today in my blood work for t3 and t4 levels i will know the results in a couple of days the main reason i insisted on having it checked with everything else is cuz i used t3 in the past(not prescribed) but i dout mines over active cuz of my body type i gain muscle fairly easy but loosing fat is very hard to do but i believe it may be my T level cuz my sex drive is horrably low and been that way before i went on my last cycle that was the main reason i went on this last cycle was for the sex drive benefit but all i know is this shit sucks :/

Catalyst's picture

Probably not the problem, but I had major headaches for months then was diagnosed with an over active thyroid, hence the question. In light if the fact your not losing weight etc, its doubtful. Be interested to hear your results and mist importantly hope things improve ASAP.

I just

I just had my blood work done i will post the results when i get them

I can't think of anything worse. I had a serious head injury a few years back that landed me in a coma. About a year after I started getting these incapacitating headaches. They come on strong and 9x out of 10 I can do nothing to stop them. The doctors are baffled and all they do is treat symptoms. The pump me with anti-inflammatories and migraine meds. The last time I was hospitalized for it ,they offered me an insane option to relieve the pressure. Crazy shit! All I can do is take all the precautions to prevent them. Stay hydrated, minimize caffeine intake, etc. Good luck man.

mattman's picture

Dam bro! My headaches are purty bad but i have no idea what triggered them so im afraid with all these random tests that im just pissing in the wind but maybe just maybe they can find the problem and hopfully its not serious :/ and gud luck to u bro i hope yours gets better!!

Barabbas's picture

With cluster headaches there are a few surgical procedures. But extremely risky. Botox injections have worked but once again very risky. Glad to see you recovered from your injury bro.

Denser's picture

Get well soon bro.

mattman's picture

Thanks bro i will try my hardest to

teza84's picture

Have you ever heard of cluster headaches? Are they like migraines. I started getting migraines and cluster headaches around your age.

Barabbas's picture

That was my exact thought bro. I have paitents that complain of headaches and they are clusters. Real bad worse than migraines. Oxygen seems to help dull the pain out but not a permanent fix.

mattman's picture

Any idea what causes or triggers them and what helps you with the pain? Im currently prescribed to take 6 fiorecet a day which is for tentsion headaches and i eat loratabs when ever i can

Barabbas's picture

A couple paitents use O2 to help kill'em but you need to talk to ur doc about gettin prescribed oxygen. The bad thing is its not something a doc will usually go for cause its not been studied enough. Maybe a concentrator ( a machine that uses the O2 in the air which is 19-21% to produce 94-98% O2) for home use. But then you would need O2 tanks (portable units) for when ur out and about and they hit. Another problem is too much O2 can cause dizziness and make you pass out. I know it sounds weird but too much oxygen is as bad as not having enough. Ask ur doc maybe he will give it a try.

mattman's picture

Well i am a pack a day cig smoker and have been for a long time so it could be possible im not getting enough oxygen

teza84's picture

Cigarettes are a definite trigger!Quit! I used to smoke quite a bit. I get them less now that I don't smoke. Take some Clen or albuterol and that will help your oxygen intake. Though stimulants are able to cause the headaches as well. He is right Oxygen will abort a cluster headache with in 30 seconds. The best remedy for migraines and cluster headaches Are Psilocybin, DMT, LSA and LSD. Strangely enough they work the best. I have taken Verapamil, amitriptyline, sumatriptan, propranolol( somatostatin blocker!), shrooms, lsa, dmt, vicodin, percocet, tramadol, etc.

Seeing AURAs is a known sign of an onset of a cluster head ache and migraine. Increased perception of any of the sense is an onset sign.

Barabbas's picture

The only prob with shrooms is the hallucination and evil stomached pains but you are completely right they do work just like your above mentioned LSD..+1 for your knowledge and helpful post bro. Good lookin out.

teza84's picture

thanks alot brother man

Barabbas's picture

Keep us updated bro. Def want to see if your doc has any more ideas.

mattman's picture

Will do bro when i get my test results from my blood work i will post them

Barabbas's picture

These are horrible bro we nickname them "suicide headaches" cause it can and has drove ppl to that point. Oxygen at a high dose (15-20LPM)at the onset can stop it in a few mins but if its at peak it won't do anything to help. This will sound crazy but non halucigentic LSD works wonders and canabis (weed) does also. Hope they can get you help bro. I know from dealing with ppl who have these that they can mess up

teza84's picture

LSA, which is readily available and inexpensive, (PM me for a source) is about 20/1 ratio of psychedelic activity. Weed never has helped me. A lot of it has to do with your trigmenial nerve in your neck and tour pineal gland. As you grow older, the pineal gland calcifies and deposits minerals such as magnetite and calcium phosphate. I personally think it is because of this "Brain Sand".

KAM1314's picture

Im sorry. My big swollen thumb down voted you. I tried to correct it. Sorry about that, hopefully a mod fixes this when they see it.

Barabbas's picture

Lmao it's all good bro the karma don't mean much to me. As long as I can help that's all the karma I need. No worries bud

J.Mc.'s picture

I know I've thought about suicide when mine were at their worst. All I could do is lay there and puke. Absolutely horrible pain. The last time I went to the emergency room I busted up in there holding my kids sand pale using it as a puke bucket, LOL. They gave me Demerol and phenergan in my IV and I just kept puking. Finally they gave me dilaudid and it helped me enough to stop vomiting

Barabbas's picture

These headaches (clusters) are thought to be the worse pain a person can have including broken bones and giving birth. I feel for you all. I can only imagine the pain. A few study's have shown paitents to just give in to the pain and commit a life taking act. I applaud all of you for your strength and will to fight these off. You guys are truly badasses.

J.Mc.'s picture

Thanks for the kind words but I wouldn't describe myself as a badass. It sucks to deal with but it could always be worse ;)

mattman's picture

I just hope this is not something i have to live with till the day i die it fuckn sucks :/ but maybe they can figure something out running all these exspensive tests lol

Barabbas's picture

Are the headaches located in one spot (left, right side, back or front)? Or all over?

mattman's picture

Id say mostly in the front and a little on the top

Barabbas's picture

Sounds like clusters bud. They are horrible ( don't have to tell you that though) sorry man I feel for you. Read above response

J.Mc.'s picture

I know how you feel bro. If you ever find out what it is let me know!

mattman's picture

Will do bro im hoping its my test level so it can be problem solved but that would also mean being on trt for the rest of my life :/

Hawkdc's picture

My simple response to anybody complaining of headaches is always:
1. How much water are you drinking a day?
2. Are you currently drinking a lot of caffeine or have you recently stopped drinking caffeine?

thinktank's picture

It's not just caffeine. I suffered from migarines for many years. They can me caused by too much caffeine/chocolate/alcohol. Most importantly, check your blood sugar levels and balance diet accordingly.

mattman's picture

Well my water intake right now it probly not where it needs to be but at one time i increased my water intake alot over about a week long period of time thinking that may help my headache but didnt help and during that time i didnt drink any cokes so my caffine intake was lowered

mattman's picture

Stress could be a factor my doc thinks that could be a possibility but sometimes i will have them when im at home all day kicked back watchn movies so idk bro

mattman's picture

Same here bro never thought i would have problems like this at age 22
