Lifelong athlete. Med Student. Coming off a pretty traumatic motorcycle accident 1.5 years ago. Smashed my pelvis, several bones in my face, my right femur, right arm, 7 ribs, and my jaw is now mostly titanium. After losing a lot of muscle to pain, their accompanying pain meds and the subsequent lack of motivation I am finally making some progress in the gym again. I'm hoping with the help of this community, my own personal knowledge of metabolism (relatively extensive, just finished my endocrinology rotation and loved it actually) that I will be able to meet/exceed my personal physique goals.

Measurements:

26 Years old
5'11
179.8 lbs
26.4% fat taken by a "BodPod" and confirmed by another device, the name of which I can't remember but I basically laid on a platform and my entire body was "scanned". The caliper measurement was actually a bit lower, if i remember correctly it was 19% lol go figure and +1 for science and technology. Those measurements were taken on 11/16/2013. I gained a little fat over the holiday season but am back near those measurements if anything I might have gained muscle since then. I am definitely lifting heavier all around.

These blood tests were done on 3/12/2014 @ 8:00AM by Kaiser sent to Quest

Testosterone: 944 ng/dL
Free Test: 167.1 pg/ mL (never seen this so high and I've had it tested 4 times in my life but its the most recent)(standard range for the test per Quest Diagnostics, who ran the bloodwork is 35.0 - 155.0 pg/mL so I was apparently high, I am absolutely a hard gainer tho go figure.)

Estradiol: 24.4 pg/mL; Standard range for males is 0-39.8
LH: 4.83 mIU/ml; Reference Range Males(20 - 70 Years) 1.5 - 9.3
FSH: 2.7; Reference Range mIU/ml Males: (13 - 70 Years)......................1.40 - 18.1

These tests were done on 2/27/2014 at 4:46PM with Kaiser also sent to Quest

Testosterone: 346 ng/dL
Free Test: 45.7 pg/dL Reference Range: 35.0 - 155.0 pg/mL
SHBG: 48 Reference Range Males: 10 - 50

I am really interested in brining the fat percentage down and adding 5-7 pounds of hard muscle in my first cycle. My main concern is my slightly high level of SHBG and that I believe from my personal experience I have a relatively high level of aromatization which was supported by study of my DNA and SNP's for deleterious polymorphisms. And of course my paramount concern is preservation of a fully functional HPTA. Im pretty open to all recommendations, Im scientific guy so I prefer hard science over anecdotes or broscience, but I recognize they all have their place.

I don't plan on running any cycle until July 1st but would love to have it hammered out well in advance. Goals that I should have met in terms of my personal fitness prior to beginning would be awesome so please critique my current shape but also offer a goal that I should meet by July 1st. Anyway I hope to learn a lot from what seems to be a great community.

I would be happy to add my weekly diet/workout framework if anybody is interested but I feel like I'm borderline tldr... so I leave it here.

With 944 testosterone level you must be out of your goddamn mind to even consider messing with AAS. SMH!
And 26.4% BF at 26 years old!! GTFO!

Please listen to rolltide, he is 100% right. And during your research you will also see what is wrong with your cycle layout.
Definitely get your bf down. Good luck, hope you listen, and hope to see you progress and come back when you are ready.

U won't like this answer but with your fat over 20 percent don't start this cycle. U really need to work on your cardio and diet. Steroids isn't a magical pill or shot that will turn u into a monster. If u start this now with such high body fat the sides will be so much greater and your cycle will be a failure. U will lose everything u gain. Go to the forums sections read up on diet and weight training start over from scratch take the next year to six months getting your body back to its full potential. Then if u learn to eat build some muscle and lose body fat down to the 15 percent and under. Come back here and we will help I'm just saying this cause we here want to set u up for success brother not failure. BTW the pct is totally screwed up

I understand my PCT is not the statuesque but I cannot find any scientific evidence to support the traditional system of completely crashing ones test levels by going from pinning 500mg(or whatever they are pinning) to 0 being "healthy". From my understanding it seems it would be easier on the body to ease in and out of pct? Also in my reading of the cycle logs most people seem to report some 2 digit bf% number which to me means they had it measured with calipers, is 18% bf%, my caliper reading now and hopefully 13-15% caliper bf% by july still to high to begin?

Mr. Vhman is 100 percent accurate below. If u are waiting till your test crashes u are waiting to long to start your pct. Your pct is 100 percent a total mess. The purpose of a pct is to start it at the time as your test levels are as close to normal as possible not crashed. Bro I know this isn't what u want to hear but we are here to guide u to success. U need to dedicate your lifestyle to this. The number one most anabolic substance on this planet is food. Diet is everything here take some time get your body ready for aas. Then with your diet and workout fine tuned u will have tremendous success. Start now and have a ton of sides like blood pressure and estro. Then lose everything u gained on pct BC your diet is not in check. The list goes diet, training, rest , then steroids not steroids first

PCT is not some experiment that folks are still trying to figure out. It has been figured out, so why are you trying to re-create the wheel here? You making a square wheel and not a circle. So whatever research you've been doing and the conclusions you've come to are wrong. AAS will stop your natural production and if you take PCT meds while you still have synthetic test and such in your system, you will just be wasting your PCT. The synthetic test has a stronger affinity in the body and your PCT won't start up your system or "ease" it back. You've been told here, so you can either find out the hard way or learn from others.
Also, why are you arguing the body fat point? Justifying you starting at a high body fat will only give you tons more estrogen sides and blood pressure issues. Show some discipline and get your body fat where it needs to be before you start.
To sum up: I really don't think you're ready for AAS right now. All I see is you trying to take short cuts. AAS are no game or a joke, so either man up and do it right or face the consequences.

I appreciate your answer. But like I said near the end of the description I have no plans on starting until July 1st.

I feel like I should streamline the post, I just didn't want to leave anything out.
